Dear Consumer,
What is a Fishing Frame? There is no definition of a fishing frame that is universally accepted or understood. The fact is, one doesn't need a frame to fish; merely patience and bait. That being said, the following attempts to define those appurtenances deemed desirable for fishing.
1) Define what you are fishing for: Tarpon, Trout, Tuna, Dorado or my personal favorite, Marlin. The selection of 1,4, and 5 favor catamarans for landing.
2) The rafting industry focus groups are exploiting your ignorance on the subject. Therefore, starter packages are somewhat pricey.
Most will wind up in the landfill so choose a la carte.
3) The basic components are: a) n bay frame for transmitting the rowing thrusts from the rower to the water, and b) potential floor components,
and c) potential thigh brace for standing without additional stabilizing features, and or d) fighting chair as well as restraints for larger fish,
and e) Potential frame extensions for motors, and f) other being user defined.
