Padded Seats Are for Wusseys.
Now that I've managed to offend 45% of my audience. Padded seats are the first to go when the raft flips.
Padded seats are nulling the space in their proximety since cargo doesn't readily fit in, under and around the seat.
Padded seats break when you step on them. Padded seats obstruct the optimum rowing geometry.
Padded seats are a waste of time and money. The only legitiment reason for a padded seat is your wife or girlfriend
wants one and thereby making it a foregone conclusion.

Supporting that seat is a seat flange whereas the the seat is bolted to said flange with 4 qty. 5/16" HHCS.
